Miansai Exchange & Return Policy
The basics: Most items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Start at returns.miansai.com using your order number and the email address used at checkout. No return authorization number is needed; your order number on the label is enough.
How It Works
- Start your return at returns.miansai.com with your order number and the exact email address used at checkout. If the portal cannot find your order, double-check the email; if you no longer have access to it, contact Miansai Support.
- Receive your label by email. A prepaid return label or QR code will be emailed to you. No printer? Choose the QR code option for printerless drop-off. Some returns, generally damage and warranty claims, require photo approval before a label is issued; if your return is marked for review, we will email you with any next steps, and your return window will not be affected by the review time. If you do not receive your label or a review notice within 24 hours, check your spam folder, then contact Miansai Support and we will resend it.
- Ship it back. Items from the same return can ship together in one box using the provided label.
- We process your return, usually within 7 days of the carrier delivering it to our facility. Your refund, store credit, or exchange follows from there as described below.
Exchanges (U.S.)
- Instant Exchange: Provide a credit card at checkout in the returns portal and your new item ships right away. Your card is only charged if we do not receive your original item within 28 days of the exchange request. If you receive a reminder email to send your return back, this is why; once your original item arrives, no charge is made.
- Standard Exchange: Prefer not to leave a card? Your new item ships approximately 1 business day after your return is processed (processing usually takes up to 7 days from delivery to our facility).
- Exchange orders appear under your original order number with an "EXC" prefix. Any price difference is charged or refunded when the exchange is created.
- If your exchange item sells out before your exchange ships, we will offer store credit or a refund.
- To cancel an exchange or convert it to a return, contact Miansai Support.
- Exchange shipping is on us.
Refunds & Fees
- Timing: Your refund is issued the moment your return is processed, which takes up to 7 days after delivery to our facility. Your bank may take a few additional business days to post it. If your refund has not arrived after that, contact Miansai Support.
- Method: Refunds go to the original payment method. If you select store credit instead, it is delivered as an e-gift card code by email (check spam). To change your refund method, contact Miansai Support before your return is processed.
- Handling fee (U.S.): A $10 handling fee is deducted from refunds. Returns of 4 or more items incur a handling fee of up to 25%, capped at $100. Exchanges and store credit returns incur no handling fee.
- Defective or incorrect items: If your item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we offer a free exchange. Start at returns.miansai.com, select the issue, and upload a photo for approval; your exchange then ships at no charge. If you prefer a refund instead of an exchange, standard return fees apply.
International Returns
- Start at returns.miansai.com and a return label will be provided. Shipping costs, duties, and taxes for returned items are deducted from your refund. Label costs vary by country; the exact cost is quoted in the portal before you confirm your return.
- You may instead ship your return with the trackable carrier of your choice at your own cost.
- Canadian customers receive a full refund of duties and taxes on returns.
- We do not currently offer international exchanges, only store credit or refunds.
Non-Returnable Items
- Monogrammed, custom-made, and final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged, but remain covered by our Warranty.
- Damage from normal wear and tear, such as scratches or stretched chains, is not eligible for return or exchange.
- Items purchased from another retailer must be returned through that retailer. Warranty claims are always handled by Miansai.
Damage & Defects
- Items damaged in shipping or with manufacturing defects, such as faded plating not attributed to wear or a malfunctioning clasp, qualify for a free exchange within 30 days of delivery. Start at returns.miansai.com and upload a photo of the issue for approval.
- After 30 days, defects are covered under our Warranty.
Gifts
- To minimize waste, Miansai does not include gift receipts or packing slips.
- U.S. gift recipients can exchange items at returns.miansai.com/gifts using the order number, shipping zip code, recipient name from the shipping label, and their email. International gift exchanges are not currently supported.
Holiday Returns
Purchases made between November 15 and December 15 may be returned until January 15. Standard return windows apply to all other orders.
